The main house is currently used as a tourist accommodation and has 16 bedrooms and bathrooms; on the ground floor there are large living rooms, the kitchen and the beautiful cellar dug into the rock. This outbuilding enjoys a spectacular view of the village of Castellina in Chianti.

The property is located just 1.5 km from Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. It can be accessed from two private roads both with gates. In a few kilometres it is possible to reach restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, banks, post offices and all essential services. The property is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods, typical of the area. In the immediate vicinity are the renowned Chianti wineries, the medieval villages of San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Barberino Val d'Elsa, Radda and Greve in Chianti. The property is located in a very strategic area, in fact the highway is only 12 km away. Florence and Siena are about 30 minutes away by car. The closest airport is that of Florence but those of Pisa and Bologna are also easily reachable in about an hour and a half and Rome Fiumicino and Milan in about three hours.
