Kathleen King von Alvensleben is an American national and has spent her life divided between living in Europe (Berlin, London, Munich) and the US (Phoenix and Washington DC). As a trained and practicing commercial architect (mixed-use, office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, etc) she gained in-depth knowledge of construction and expanded her multinational real estate network. Her charity work for the historic Berliner Schloss (Berlin Palace) - considered Germany's culture project for the 21st century- engrained the real importance of personal relationships and negotiating skills. Through these attributes, Kathleen was able to gain the support of President George Bush Sr, philanthropist and art collector Ronald Lauder and Dr. Henry Kissinger for the Berlin Palace’s US Honorary Board, while raising funds across borders.
