Chris Liem

Chris is the Owner and Principal of Engel & Völkers Hong Kong, an important asset in the global Engel & Völkers network of brokers who provide world--class levels of service, products, and advice. Previously, as a professional in the finance industry for more than a decade, Chris was a Vice President of Nomura International Hong Kong, a Vice President of Lehman Brothers Asia, and an Associate Director At Macquarie Equities (Asia) Ltd. His finance experience includes specialties in cash trading and facilitation, futures trading, and arbitrage and relative value trading. Originally from Australia, Chris studied at the University of Technology, Sydney and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & Finance.

Chris has an extensive discrete network with UHNWI in China and South East Asia, family offices, celebrities and officials. His close relationship and experience in working with their funds and investments, enable him to continue to successfully marry strategic investments to the right partners in real estate, agriculture and tech. He is also the Executive Partner and Co-Founder of several tech companies in the real estate and fintech area.
